Inhalant drugs are a problem all around the world due to its easy access to the public.

In south Asia and Africa sniffing glue and gasoline has become a habit of most street children.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime has reported that in most of Nairobi, Kenia inhaling solvent has become a “Street Culture".

Back on the 1980’s sniffing gasoline became popular amongst Russian Sailors and Marines. Mexico is also one of the main inhalant drug consumers. Mexicans have created a mixture of gasoline and industrial solvents called “Activo” or “Chemo”, the consumption of this has risen amongst the homeless of Mexico City in recent years.
